  1. “‘Rebecca’ by Daphne Du Maurier? Really Abbie?” Jake questioned as he tossed the book onto his sisters bed.
“I found it quite refreshing thanks.” she countered immediately as she snatched it up.
After only a few keystrokes on his laptop, Jake replied “It’s a twisted murder story, that doesn’t sound like your usual girl drama novel.”
“I had to read it for school, but like I said, it’s quite a refreshing story. Not at all predictable or bland. I loved it.”
Jake scoffed and turned back to his computer. Absently he typed, and when Abbie was no longer looking he downloaded the audiobook.

  2. Mary-Kelly R.

“It wasn’t a good read. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who doesn’t want to be completely disgusted. I can’t believe that they forced us to read it, like it would somehow benefit us. Pshh, since when did English class decide that book reports were a good idea? I certainly did NOT enjoy it.”
Emily raised an eyebrow at Colin. “You’re getting the sequel, aren’t you?”
Colin crossed his arms and glanced away from her. “Maybe.”
