Poem by Thalia

A rose, red like blood, that holds the life of a man, each petal that falls, could mean his death, he is hideous but holds a gold heart but acts angry at the world, he was cursed, cursed to live like a beast, alone in a castle, big but lonely, dark. She is beautiful, and will do anything for her father, she lives reading books, always in her own world, her name is belle, which means beauty. On an unfortunate day this two souls met, and slowly fell in love, life threw low punches but they managed to survive it all, he became the prince he was meant to be, and next to her they lived happily. All stories have a moral a teaching and this one is no exception, it teaches us that love is pure and touches the darkest places of our heart and turns it into light, that everything is not what is seems, sometimes a kiss from someone you love so deep can, help us become the person we are meant to be.

  1. I really loved this poem. I could definitely tell you were talking about Beauty and the Beast. Great job!

Wow, so beautiful, I love the underlying meaning and the beauty and the beast theme, but how you kind of deviated from that in a way. Anyways, just beautiful, I truly love it. 🙂 ❤

  3. Bridget Bishop

    Really good job on this.
