Today’s prompt:

Describe the color lilac in a haiku

Please read the NaPoWriMo page for details on how the challenge works and how you can participate this month, no matter what your personal writing challenge is for the month of April. Please read How to Post During NaPoWriMo. Remember that work shared this month is shared in precisely that spirit: sharing, as opposed to critiquing.

  1. The lavender in her eye,
    The flower of imagine,
    Palest purple queen, .
This is one of my first haiku’s but I hope you guys like it 😀 I was going for more of a figurative description, hopefully it still makes a bit of sense :b

    1. Yes, I totally understand the personification and the amazingness of this!! Really pretty haiku, I cant believe you haven’t done many of these since this one is so amazing! 🙂 😀

  2. Lilac flowers trace the ground
What beautiful day to look around
Hello glorious day, may peace and joy come your way!

Seems like a lot of words by its only 21, so still a haiku! Tell me what you think!

  3. (unrelated to the prompt)
    Tailgatto’s fierce,
And has proven to be quite the hustler,
    She’s really the cat’s meow!
Wade’s insatiable, he never stops playing,
His barking drives us up the wall,
But he’s just too cute to resist!
    He’s really a girl’s best friend!
    Krissy’s larger than life,
    Literally and figuratively
She craves belly rubs kisses, and
    She’s such a cuddlebug!

  4. (this is unrelated to the prompt)

    Bright and happy days.
Joy in the air. Spring is here.
    Flowers and blue skies.

  5. Unrelated to the prompt, but still about Lilac. Lilac is my favorite color, I cannot decide between lavender and lilac, although they are almost the same thing. LOL, I hope you like it!
    I park my bicycle,
My hair carried by the wind.
I walk softly to the field,
    Where it looks so unreal.
    Flowers bloom in every spot,
    Pink, green, blue, every dot.
I kneel down softly to a flower,
It’s petals caressed in gentle rain.
    The raindrops shimmer down,
    Looking so delicate.
The lilac flower is so sweet,
This is where I’m meant to be.
I sit down softly in the grass, and braid
    Some lilacs into my hair.
I look like a purple queen,
As I sit gently in nature.
    The lilac is like me,
We’re both in a realm of fantasy.
Any comments are warmly welcome!! Have a great morning & rest of your day! 🙂 ❤

  6. A sad morning day,
    Cut through at mid-noon,
She blossomed, the lilac is new.
That was my first Haiku lol >.>
