  1. I’m doing better than I thought I would!! This poem is unrelated to the prompt.
    _____________
    Creamy
    Hard to resist
    Oh, how divine!
    Can something be more perfect?
One piece is simply not enough
Life would be terribly dull without you, itโ€™s so easy to get
Addicted to your luscious, smooth, texture,
Truly, this is the best form of therapy
Even though you can be detrimental to my health, I still love you!

    • I love this so much, Eshanie!! Chocolate is fantastic, lol! Great job, and I’m glad you’re doing good! โค ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Gabrielle Lovell

Love it Eshanie, glad you’re doing good! This totally relates to the prompt! chocolate is an object! Also, a lot of people say chocolate is actually good for you, which I like to believe since I love chocolate a lot! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. This is my life right now, and it happens to be a Kenning Poem. lol ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ™‚ https://youtu.be/7GbHY5Tbhfo?t=1m1s

  4. A book.

    Hard, full of words,
    educational,
    random,
    meaningful,
    extraordinary,
    imaginative.
    Friendly,
    always there for you.
    a book.
Written by someone who at one time, was us.

    • Gabrielle Lovell

Holy cow that is awesome Alexa! My heart was just like woah on the final line. I love it, really changes perspective! ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. This is unrelated to the prompt ๐Ÿ™‚
    ___________________________________________________________________
You are my everything, my home.
The person I always turn to,
The person worth all the ado.
Youโ€™re with me, even when I roam.

    When Iโ€™m with you,
    The world blurrs,
    And Iโ€™m blind to it;
    I feel safe, protected.
    A quick burst of flame
And you started a fire within me.
I knew I could never recover
From what youโ€™d done to me.

    You feel like my stability,
    You feel like my forever.
    The way you make me-
Iโ€™d never have imagined this tranquilty.

  6. Unrelated to the prompt

You took my heart away from me
Whether you meant to or not
I kind of want it back, you see
You left my life in knots
Oh, look, now youโ€™ve shattered it
    And discarded it like trash
    I guess now, itโ€™s time I quit
    Before my mind will crash
I long for you, but you donโ€™t care
Or seem to make it mutual
I love you still, which isnโ€™t fair
When you see it as unusual
If you tell me now, you feel the same
Youโ€™ll clear this cloud-filled sky from rain
And take away this stupid pain
    For everything to be okay

  7. As you guys know if you’ve been on the blog a while with me, that I am inseparable form horses. ๐Ÿ˜‰ I had found it strange that I had not dedicated a poem to horses yet, so here goes!
    —–
Hard work comes to have a horse,
    Occupied, taking out poop.
Running wildly, at least full of glee,
    Sensational feeling on a horse.
    Excellent canter, why not gallop?
    Stopping is the worst part,

    At all, I would stop.
    Running out, taking the hay,
    Exercise is much and much.

    Long chores, sweeping stalls,
Is one day, takes so long.
    Finally time for a ride,
    Excitedly, I mount up.
    ————-
This turned out to be an acrostic, lol. It spells HORSES ARE LIFE. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Enjoy it! Any comments are warmly welcomed! โค ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Gabrielle Lovell

Ooh! I love how it spells horses are life, I love that!!! I love the horse theme, haven’t heard any poems or anything about horses in a long time! I really love this Sofi, amazing! ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™‚

    • I love horses, have you ever gone on a trail ride or jumping?

      • I’ve done both of those, but I prefer trail riding. It’s so serene and quiet on the back of a horse. ๐Ÿ™‚ I have two of my own, Pumpkin, and Misty, a wild mustang, which has been quite a lot of horse to train! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Do you have any of your own, Alexa? โค

  8. “The Moon”

    A night-bringer
    A sunset-needer
    A tide-changer
    A spaceship-keeper
    A rover-lover
    A shadow-bringer
    ————————————-
This was my first attempt at a Kennings poem…I’d actually never heard of it before, but here it is lol ๐Ÿ˜›

  9. Gabrielle Lovell

    Glitter, paint, fish and bacon
    Cameras, books, clocks and loving
    Notebooks, birds trees and more
    Lavender, rosemary, antique doors
    I’m quite an odd person
    I love everything except hurting
Everything on this earth is my favorite
Every genre of music to listen
I love the world, every piece and feather
I wish the world, would just love one another
I love every person, thing or place
Every color every size every race
I wish the world would see things like me
But I guess the best of things are hard to see…

    ——-
I cant pick a favorite object person, place or thing. I love very piece of life, even the bad moments sine I know they lead to something good. Please tell me what you think! ๐Ÿ™‚ โค

  10. “The Sun”

    A day-bringer
    A moonlight-needer
    A solar-waver
    A gaseous-lover
    A nuclear-fuser
    A shadow-bringer
    **************************
I totally hope this doesn’t count as plagiarizing, but I was just completley inspired by Alyssa’s poem and give full credit to her. I just basically wanted to do a parody of her “Moon” poem because I thought it was a super interesting idea. I really hope you don’t mind Alyssa, but if you want me to, I can completely ask someone to remove the comment or something ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyway, I hope (if the poems okay) you guys like it ๐Ÿ˜€ All props go to Alyssa for writing something so inspiring :b
