1,000 Things by Alyssa H

One thousand things is what you are

One thousand colors, bright from afar

One thousand smiles, lighting up darkened nights One thousand hugs, stopping every fright One thousand words, making everything alright That’s just what you are, you’re beautiful and bright One thousand ways to say I love you, without opening your mouth One thousand moments to hold on tight, staring you right in the face One thousand whispered prayers, proving people can change One thousand shooting stars, showing wishes can come true That’s just how you are, making everyone believe in you One thousand seconds, to give someone hope One thousand minutes, to save the world One thousand hours, set to protect the innocent One thousand days, to prove they’ve all changed One thousand weeks, to trust your faith One thousand year, to be something more That’s just who you are, showing your love for everything and everyone
