Writing by Sarah B

Writing is so hard to control.
I can’t make the words stop,
I can’t make them go.
Everything I write turns out to be a flop.

I can’t write anything.
I can’t write poetry,
I can’t write fiction.
I can’t even make it realistic.
Oh, writer’s block does make my heart sting.

Writing’s much too hard, you see.

I can’t figure it out.
No, I just can’t do it.
Writing’s not for me.

  1. I really feel this right now, Sarah! I tried to write poems last night but just couldn’t!

Im so sorry Sarah! There are always those days where writing is impossible, it’s just you cant give up and just quit forever! You may have a slump now, maybe a few days, months, years even. But the best things come to those who wait. I love your poem, so relatable, but never give up on something that you can control, it may just take time. Beautiful poem Sarah, I really loved it. ❤ 🙂

  3. Sofia Cabrera

Okay, this is extremely relate able!!! Wonderful poem though, Sarah! ❤ 😉

  4. I love this so much, Sarah! I can definitely relate and I feel like this much of the time.

  5. Bridget Bishop

    This is very relatable.

  6. This is relatable. I’ve deleted over 60 writings because I couldn’t stop writing but then they ended up being terrible and too similar to each other.
